Peggi
Habets is a figure and portrait artist,
working primarily in watercolor. Her studio
is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
but she works with clients around the
country. Recently her work has been included
on the cover of "Best of America:
Watercolor Artists" and the February
issue of Watercolor Artist magazine where
her painting "Recollection"
won 2nd prize in their Watermedia Showcase
competition. Her painting "The Forest
for The Trees" won Best of Show at
the Asssociated Artists of Pittsburgh
exhibition at Fallingwater this past summer.
Peggi will be part of a group exhibition
featuring 5 women portrait and figure
artists. The show will be held at Shaw
Galleries during the month of April. The
opening reception will be Friday, April
1 from 5 - 9:30. The other four participating
artists are Barbara Kern-bush, Christine
Swann, Claire Hardy and Jeannie McGuire.
