Renee Keil is an artist, actress, director and choreographer living in the Shadyside area of Pittsburgh. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh where she studied dance and theater.
As a theater artist, Renee has been seen and heard in several area commercials and industrials, she has performed in many Pittsburgh area theater productions and has worked as a director and/or choreographer for Duquesne University, The University of Pittsburgh, Penn State Altoona, Starlight Productions and other local companies. She is a retired dance and theater educator having spent most of her teaching career at Chartiers Valley HS. She also taught dance in the pre-college musical theatre program at Carnegie Mellon University.
Currently, Renee is concentrating on her “visual arts”; painting in watercolor, pastels and oils. She is a member of the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, The Pittsburgh Society of Artists, McMurray Art League, South Arts as well as Pittsburgh Pastel Artist League. She has won several awards for her work in various juried art shows
