An exhibition at the Merrick Art Gallery entitled THE WATERCOLORS OF ED HANCOCK, ARCHITECT AND ARTIST will open on Sunday October 22nd and run through November 5th at 1100 5th Street, New Brighton, PA.  The opening reception is Sunday October 22nd at 1:00-4:00 pm.  Gallery hours are Tuesdays - Thursdays 10:00 - 4:00 and Sundays 1:00-4:00.  The show is comprised of over 50 original watercolor landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and geometric compositions.  The Merrick Art Gallery is an early private art museum, founded by industrialist Edward Dempster Merrick in 1880 in the old New Brighton, Pennsylvania railroad station and is open, free-of-charge, to the public.
